Much of the forward duo of large radiators have been stripped to reequip other vessels (given its lack of dedicated spinal direct energy weapons unlike the Muse) and the SRN charged particle cannon have been entirely stripped and replaced with Sarian reality compression based systems, this allows the Alchemist when well commanded to run very cold, allowing it to perform as as a superb ambush weapon when is main array is configured correctly to match its preys sensors.
The Alchemist lacks a true Sarian HAIK armor uni-body or secondary warhull, instead a clinker built layer of the HAIK plates and structural members a clan juggernauts forge can produce are applied onto existing conventional material hull sections, as such its both initially far more resistant than expected and also unsuited to the stresses of heavy combat given its lack of a HAIK "keel" or central structure. An under bow enclosed hanger is present and can internally just about carry its trio of Beheaders. Alchemist variants carrying extensive anti missile defense systems, fuel refining systems, mining gear, multiple docking arrays for parasite craft in escort carrier layouts, cargo rings, cruiser scale shield emitters, and in one recorded case a single capital grade charged particle beam have been spotted. A clan workhorse the Alchemist is effectively the only true starship built by the clans even if most of its components were in many cases bloodily sourced elsewhere.
